Resumo:"Grass pea (Lathyrus sativus) is an annual grain legume crop cultivated worldwide. Although considered underused, grass pea is an important source of protein for human and animal consumption in particular marginal areas. Furthermore, it is characterized by a remarkable resistance to abiotic stresses, such as drought, and biotic stress, such as particular pests and diseases. However, yield inconsistency due to sensitivity to specific diseases strongly limits its cultivation. One of these diseases is fusarium wilt, caused by the soil-borne fungi Fusarium oxysporum (Fo).
