Semear leapfrog program for expansion go-to-market strategy
| Resumo: | Semear’s actions and work with people with IDD has along history in Lisbon, but it is important to assess what exactly the organization does on their day-to-day basis. Their business portfolio is divided in to three different Business Units: Semear Academia, the cornerstone business unit ,that offers 3 academic/professional paths-with specific pricing, location and staff; Semear na Terra,a community-focused unit, with social services oriented to individuals and companies accompany ingits core business; and Semear Mercearia, the financial engine of Semear, with profit-oriented products and activities ,al though fighting against food waste. To assess if it’s possible to replicate this business portfolio to Santarém, the firsts tep was to evaluate each business unit on their processes, products, prices, location, staff and financial results. A step furher was taken to analyze the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in each business unit. |
