EDP internacional investment opportunity in South Africa
| Resumo: | EDP – Energias de Portugal, S.A – have the ambition to become “The Utility” in the energy landscape. EDP Internacional, a company from the group, is responsible to export EDP’s know-how in the form of energy consulting and training services across EDP outside consolidate markets, in both developed and emerging countries. Hence, the purpose of this work project is to assess whether South African energy market is attractive or not, and if yes, defining the Entry Mode strategy that maximizes EDPI returns on the investment. The study concludes that EDPI should enter South African Energy Efficiency market through a moderated-control strategy. |
