Measuring the intangible: social impact assessment for social enterprises and impact investors
| Resumo: | The objective of this work project is to make the intangible social impact assessable while mediating the diverging social impact assessment perspectives between social entrepreneurs and impact investors. Gleaned from the multidisciplinary synopsis of the literature and the conducted interviews, the measurement aspirations and utilized methodologies of investors versus investees are juxtaposed. This exploratory research was conducted with the aim of improving conceptual clarity through an overview table of the most common social impact assessment tools. Further, a decision tree has been developed, guiding both investors and investees through the process of jointly deciding on a suitable SIA framework. |
