How organizations can manage occurring tensions in the reduction of food waste - case study of too good to go

Resumo:Too Good To Go is a social impact company tackling the global issue of food waste by implementing a solution for consumers, businesses and the environment. On its path to become the world’s largest movement against food waste, the company faces diverse, organizational tensions. The following case study aims at providing both, an overview of the specific tensions and the management of those as a response by the Too Good To Go. Therefore, the solutions can be utilized as a supportive framework for other organizations and serves the purpose of illustrating the learning journey of asocial enterprise, turning food waste from a problem into an opportunity beneficial for the triple bottom line of people, planet and profit.
