Ver documento

Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:This systematic literature review examines the interaction between leadership styles and crisis communication attributes during the COVID-19 pandemic. Analyzing the four primary leadership styles that emerge in the literature – transformational, adaptive, collaborative and decentralized – their unique contribution during times of crisis is identified. Transformational leaders inspire through empathy and vision; adaptive leaders are characterized by flexibility and transparency; collaborative leaders emphasize inclusivity and decentralized leaders value delegation. The findings highlight sector-specific applications in education, healthcare, and public administration. They show that leadership plays a central role in managing uncertainty. The study creates a framework that links leadership styles, communication attributes and outputs, providing a basis for future sector- and crisis-specific research.
