Resumo:The worldwide development of information technology has forced the ports to adopt systems that allow them to be more competitive in time and cost, Cape Verdean ports have joined the trends and adopted a new port information management system. In view of this fact the report intends to analyze the Port Single Window and Logistic Single Windows in the short term and long-term efficiency aspect of a Cape Verdean Ports. Approaching in this way, the development of the Port Single Window over the time by the port administrations and the phases of preparation of the Logistics Single Window, but also for the various factors that contributed to this development. To this end, it focuses more heavily on a Portuguese case – Sines Port and Cape Verde Ports in the Praia Port and Porto Grande cases, where it is already under the Port Single Window.
