Recent studies suggest that the transfer market value depends on many factors, including the performance measures. These measures quantify the abilities that each player executes in the pitch. Despite the developments made on this field, few studies considered the specifications of each position in the performance measures selection. Therefore, this study aims to understand the impact of the performance measures in the players of top six European leagues in the last three seasons, considering each position group. For this, fixed effect regression was run and the results revealed that goalkeepers market value has a positive correlation with the number of games without conceiving goals. The defensive duels and the aerials duels won per minute have a negative correlation for the defenders. The number of assists affects positively the transfer market value of midfielders and goals have a great impact in these players and attackers’ value. This research intent to produce relevant insights to agents that have an active role in football transfer market.
