Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:The present study experimentally investigates the effect of 9-minute mindfulness meditation on feedback-seeking behaviours. Participants were randomly assigned to a mindfulness (n = 55) or a mind-wandering (n = 48) group. The Brief Fear of Negative Evaluation Scale (BFNE) and the Feedback-seeking Behaviours Scale (FSB) were then completed by participants. The results revealed a significant relationship between mindfulness practice and feedback-seeking and a significant influence of the mediation variable (i.e., fear of negative evaluations). Despite the positive findings of this study, further research is needed to better comprehend the impact of brief, on-the-spot mindfulness meditation on feedback-seeking behaviou
