| Resumo: | The aim of this paper is to offer a general perspective on the "victor/vanquished" dichotomy as a result of the new power balance in the period following the Spanish Civil War. The power balance administered by the Franco regime includes, inevitably, the "vanquished" management. I argue that the "victor/vanquished" distinction provides a sociological background to speak about the "two Spains" meta-historical metaphor as a social reality during Francoism. |
