Increasing customer experience through the optimization of premium public charging by Mercedes benz

Resumo:This paper examines global trends fundamentally disrupting the automotive industry and explores emerging opportunities within the transformation. As such, a pronounced network of charge points is of utmost importance to ful fill customer needs and accelerate electrification. As holistic research on the development of exclusive charging stations with premium services is limited, this individual thesis explores such initiatives for Mercedes-Benz. In examining the importance of customer experience to automotive firms within the electric vehicle charging ecosystem, this section analyzes how Mercedes-Benz can enhance public charging. In the short run, strategic partnerships ful fill immediate customer demands. In the long run an implementation of own, branded charging stations should be reconsidered to sustain in the luxury car segment.
