Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:This study explores the impact of innovative biotechnology on the advancement of personalized medicine and the pivotal role of biopharmaceuticals in enabling its development. Using a descriptive cross-sectional design and mixed-methods approach, data was collected from 108 participants globally to assess perceptions of PM's development, challenges, and future trajectory. Key findings highlight the significant contributions of biotechnologies such as Next Generation Sequencing, CRISPR, and CAR-T therapies, particularly in oncology. Barriers like high R&D costs and strategies for fostering collaboration and public funding were identified as crucial for PM's adoption. The study underscores PM's transformative potential to revolutionize healthcare systems worldwide
