Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:The Portuguese diplomat and playwright Manuel de Figueiredo (1725-1801) is the author of a vast work in which it is possible to find several references to Spain. He reveals in one of his speeches that he considers himself to be deeply influenced by the Spanish culture and language. Thus, in this work we set out to discuss, although not extensively, the aspects in Figueiredo’s theatrical production that refer to the Spanish universe: (1) the language, (2) the Spanish types, (3) the geography and (4) the intertextuality with the Spanish originals.
