Leveraging regulatory technology in sustainability compliance: how can AI-driven regtech solutions strengthen corporate compliance capabilities under rapidly evolving sustainability regulations?

Resumo:This thesis explores how AI-driven Regulatory Tech (RegTech) solutions can enhance corporate compliance capabilities amid increasingly stringent sustainability regulations. Through qualitative analysis based on expert interviews, the research identifies significant opportunities in operational efficiency, proactive risk management, strategic adaptability, and stakeholder trust enhancement. However, organizations also face notable challenges, including market immaturity, integration complexities, financial hurdles, and organizational resistance. The study provides practical insights for businesses to strategicfally navigate these barriers, highlighting the critical role of technological integration alongside organizational readiness to effectively leverage AI in meeting evolving sustainability regulatory demands.
