Ver documento

Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:Education and gender inequality issues and the limited technological infrastructure are hampering Africa’s growth potential. Several NGOs committed to tackling those hurdles see their impact affected by the continent’s poor digital ecosystem. Through a detailed analysis of Digitalization and from Girl MOVE’s experience, this thesis aims to assess the potential of Digitalization for Education and Women Empowerment in Africa, creating a framework for NGOs to effectively implement a Digital Strategy. Digitalization motivates students to stay in school, providing opportunities for women’s emancipation and helping NGOs attract wider audiences, partnerships, and funding. It should be a central pillar in their strategy.
