Holistic analysis and recommendations for performance enhancement in a traditional Brazilian football club
| Resumo: | This study assessed the performance of Sport Club Internacional, a traditional Brazilian football club, across sporting, financial, and fan engagement dimensions. The research involved a comprehensive comparative analysis with nine other Brazilian clubs as well as a SWOT analysis. Drawing on the insights obtained from these analyses, recommendations were formulated to address the identified weaknesses and consequently enhance the overall performance of Sport Club Internacional. The results indicate that Internacional must institute rigorous financial control measures, foster the development of young talents, diversify sources of recurring revenue, and enhance its digital presence. |
