Ver documento

Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:This research explores how grassroots NGOs in East Africa can reduce grant dependency and build more sustainable funding models. Based on semi-structured interviews with practitioners and advisors, the research identifies key strategies such as revenue-generating projects, crowdfunding, corporate partnerships and individual donor engagement. Findings suggest that successful diversification is less about achieving a fixed funding mix and more about aligning funding models with organizational stage, capacity, and mission. The study contributes practical insights for NGOs navigating resource constraints and shifting donor landscapes.
