Qualitative insights into leadership: defining the future leader ata a consultimg company

Resumo:This thesis explores the future leadership profile at X, an international consulting firm navigating evolving industry demands and shifting employee expectations. The study investigates which competencies leaders must develop to meet organizational demands and support a changing consulting environment. Using a qualitative approach, the research draws on interviews with 10 leaders and 10 employees, analysed through the Gioia method. The findings identify 9 core competencies, primarily skills centred in proximity and strategic vision, highlighting the importance of targeted leadership development at X and defining the role of future leaders in aligning organizational objectives with the needs of its people.
