Effects of Covid-19 on change leadership dimensions and their perceived importance

Resumo:This paper investigates Horváth´s eight Change Leadership dimensions, their perceived importance as well as potential effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on them. From an internet mediated survey with 162 complete responses, it can be concluded that the items seem much closer embedded in one another than Horváth´s model postulates. Overall, it can, however, be stated that Empowerment and Trust became more important during (or after) the COVID-19 pandemic while, at the same time, the leaders’ behaviours have changed for the better. In contrast, Inspiration seems to have lost importance for the respondents, with simultaneously, leaders focusing less on this dimension.
