Um passo em frente e dois atrás:
| Resumo: | Este artigo tem por objetivo analisar as características e dinâmicas atuais do sistema político italiano, concentrando-se nos principais padrões de continuidade e mudança que emergiram depois das eleições legislativas de 2013. A desintegração da coligação de centro-direita, a emergência de novas forças políticas, assim como a emergência de novos líderes reformularam profundamente o sis-tema político italiano. Por outro lado, a crise económica fortaleceu atitudes negativas face às instituições democráticas e aos principais atores políticos. Este fenómeno conduziu a um sistema político extremamente fluido e a um futuro incerto que tem sido agravado por um debate interminável sobre as reformas institucionais. The aim of this article is to analyze the current characteristics and dynamics of the Italian political system, focussing on the main patterns of continuity and change that emerged after the 2013 legislative elections. The disintegration of the centre-right coalition, the emergence of new political forces, as well as the rise of new leaders have profoundly reshaped the Italian party system. On the other hand, the economic crisis has reinforced negative attitudes towards democratic institutions and the main political actors. These phenomena have led to an extremely fluid political system and an uncertain future, which has been aggravated by a never-ending debate on institutional reforms. |
