| Resumo: | Assessing the impact of female founders on IPO success This study evaluates the impact of female founders on short- and long-term IPO success. Initial IPO performance showed no significant gender-related effects. A notable exception is Bumble Inc., led by Whitney Wolfe Herd, which experienced an impressive initial surge, contrasting with a negative correlation found one year post-IPO. Thus, this study calls for further investigation into the nuanced role of female founders in public companies. |
