Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:This work projectuses a political economy approach to explain the determinants and the differencesinthe allocation of the European Union Regional Transfersduringthe 2007-2013 and 2014-2020 European Multiannual Financial Frameworks. This work project uses two regression analysis to conclude that the economic condition of a member state is the biggest determinant of EU regional transfers, however with the economic growth of the “poorest” EU member states and the tightening of the economic and development gap between Western and Eastern Europe, other factors, mainly attitudes towards the EU and a member state track record managing EU transfers, play a bigger role in their allocation.
