| Resumo: | Lupus nephritis is a common complication of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), usually developing early in the course of the disease. Almost all patients with lupus nephritis present with positive ANA and anti-dsDNA, Hypocomplementaemia and renal manifestations (haematuria, proteinuria and/or renal failure).
