Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:Oleothorax was largely used from 1930 to 1950 in the treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis (PBT). Although it has been discontinued since the 1950's, mainly because of the success of chemotherapy and the thoracic surgery, complications have appeared many years later. The autbors report the case report of an 80 years old man, with a previous history of PTB, treated at the age 52 with oleothorax, admitted to study a mass in tbe right supraclavicular region. Computorised axial tomograpby revealed a pleurocutaneous fístula. Aspiration revealed an oily content.
