Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:Kikuchi and Fujimoto’s Disease, also known as Histiocytic Necrotizing Lymphadenopathy, is a rare and, usually, benign disorder, of unknown aetiology. Generally presents with lymphadenopathy and fever. Its association with systemic lupus erythematosus is recognised and it can be diagnosed before, simultaneously or after the diagnosis of lupus. The authors report a clinical case of a female patient in whom Systemic Lupus Erythematosus was diagnosed 10 years after Kikuchi and Fujimoto’s Disease in complete remission.
