IMAGAGE AND WORD: TRACING THE EDGES OF CREATION
| Resumo: | The understanding of artistic work as a process, thought and performance of the body is presented in this article through the discussion about intersubjectivity in exchange practices and exercises of presence, as enablers of the act of creating images. The text unites terms from Édouard Glissant (relation), Augustin Berque (landscape thought), William James (experience), Janet Bennett (actant), among others, philosophers and performance scholars exemplify an approach between subjects and objects from an understanding of creation as an action of the body inserted in a time and place that is decisive in the elaboration of statements. Poems from the book Deságua and videographic images make up this proposal for understanding creation asa hybrid act rooted in experience and living as a relation condition. |
