| Resumo: | Geographic Information Systems (GIS) are considered as a vast and powerful support tool for urban planning. In this sense, the susceptibility analysis of the flooding areas through SIG represents a highly important information for the government to support the zoning process, delimitation of risk areas and the allocation of resources with corrective and preventive purposes.
