Identification and mapping of geotechnical risk areas in urban area of Timóteo (MG, southeast Brazil) and its implicationsin the quality of life of its residents
| Resumo: | The city of Timóteo, in the Southeast of Brazil, is not immune to the occurrence of risky areas caused by natural processes and/or induced by anthropic situations that directly interfere in the life quality of its population. This piece of work focuses on identifying and analysing the urban occupation in some risky areas of the district of "Cachoeira do Vale", by the end of the research project, a letter of risky sesceptibility was written, which will serve as an additional tool in the management of the problem by the city council. |
