Flooding risk- a methodology for mapping

Resumo:	The risk of flooding is one of the most important in Portugal and in the twentieth century was probably responsible for very significant economic and social impacts. A map that features the areas vulnerable to flooding will be an instrument to anticipate the reactions of the territory dealing with such situations. The propose methodology seeks to fi t several natural dynamics with territorial translation and that now can be integrated into multiple sets of spatial data in GIS.
