Cybersecurity in Brazilian civil aviation (2016-2019)
| Resumo: | This text aims to support cybersecurity actions in the protection of Brazilian civil aviation since the submission of Resolution A39-19 of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) on May 30, 2016, until 2019. It uses a case study and a literature, documentary, and legislative analysis. As a result of the analysis, there is a balance between the policies recommended by ICAO and the measures adopted by Brazil through the Institutional Security Office (GSI) and the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC). Also, it is worthy of note that Brazil anticipated international recommendations when preparing the ANAC Strategic Planning 2015-2019 document. Finally, we conclude that cybersecurity will be a permanently evolving situation, dependent on concerted actions by all the actors in the civil aviation ecosystem and the public authorities towards complying with the guidelines of the National Defence Policy and Strategy and the security of the Brazilian State. |
