As intervenções do enfermeiro especialista de saúde mental e psiquiátrica na prevenção do comportamento suicidário nos adolescentes
| Resumo: | Os comportamentos da esfera suicidária têm sido alvo de uma particular atenção e são considerados um problema de saúde pública. A saúde mental, é uma área atualmente prioritária no Plano Nacional de Saúde Mental, através da dinamização do Plano Nacional de Prevenção do Suicídio. A complexidade do fenómeno dos comportamentos suicidários, exige abordagens multidisciplinares integradas, envolvendo o adolescente, família e comunidade, pelo que urge identificar as intervenções do Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Saúde Mental e Psiquiátrica na prevenção do comportamento suicidário na adolescência. Este, detém conhecimentos científicos e competências que o colocam em posição privilegiada nas equipas de saúde e no contexto escolar, para desenvolver uma compreensão e intervenção terapêutica eficaz e atempada, traduzindo-se em ganhos em saúde. A fim de conhecer a atualidade da problemática, foi realizada uma revisão integrativa da literatura e desenvolvido um Projeto de Intervenção de enfermagem, ancorado no Modelo de Sistemas de Betty Neuman; - THE INTERVENTIONS OF THE MENTAL HEALTH SPECIALIST NURSE IN THE PREVENTION OF TEENAGERS' SUICIDAL BEHAVIORS ABSTRACT: Behaviours in the suicidal sphere have received particular attention and are considered a public health problem. Mental health is currently a priority area in the National Mental Health Plan, through the promotion of the National Plan for Suicide Prevention. The complexity of the phenomenon of suicidal behaviours requires integrated multidisciplinary approaches involving the adolescent, family and community, thus it is urgent to identify the interventions of the Nurse Specialist in Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing in the prevention of suicidal behaviour in adolescence. The latter has scientific knowledge and skills that place them in a privileged position within the health teams and school settings to develop an effective and timely understanding and therapeutic intervention, which translates into health gains. In order to understand the current status of the issue, an integrative literature review was conducted and a Nursing Intervention Project was developed, anchored in Betty Neuman's Systems Model. |
