Para uma sociologia das práticas do cuidar da enfermeira obstreta: O caso particular da intervenção junto da parturiente, puérpera e família de Portalegre
| Resumo: | O objectivo desta tese é caracterizar as práticas profissionais da enfermeira obstetra do HDJMG, em Portalegre. Como estratégia de investigação, privilegiamos o estudo de caso e o paradigma qualitativo. Este método de análise intensiva permite uma melhor compreensão da natureza da prática do cuidar, descrevendo assim as experiências das enfermeiras, a forma como as vivem e como elas as descrevem. Os resultados demonstram uma interacção muito forte com a seguinte caracterização: A enfermeira cuida da puérpera e da família, estão melhor preparadas e possuem melhor imagem que anteriormente; fazem ensinos programados sobre o puerpério, valorizando a dor e as necessidades das utentes. Identificam como barreiras na relação, a formação cultural da utente e como estratégias para as transpor, demonstram uma permanente disponibilidade. Entendem que a atitude de submissão e obediência, por parte das utentes, é exercido pela autoridade da classe de enfermagem. Utilizam como paradigma das suas práticas o da Transformação privilegiando a relação humana em vez da técnica. O posicionamento da pesquisadora frente a esse cenário aparece, ao final desta tese, na forma de contribuir para a melhoria das práticas profissionais em enfermagem obstétrica. /ABSTRACT; The purpose of this thesis is to characterize the obstetric nurse’s professional practises of the in HDJMG in Portalegre. As a strategic analysis, we consider the case study-method and the quality paradigm. This method of intensive analysis allows a better understanding of the caring nature, describing thus the experience of nurses; the way these are lived and how they are described. The results show a very strong interaction with the following characterization: nurses care for the puerperal and family, they are better prepared and have a better image than before; they teach programs about puerperium, regarding the pain and the needs of patients. The cultural education of patients is identified as a barrier to the relation and the permanent availability is a strategy to solve it. They understand that the obedience and submissive attitude from patients is due to nurses’ authority. They use as a practice paradigm the Transformation considering as relevant the human instead of the technical relationship. The researcher's positioning regarding this scenario is shown at the end of this thesis, as a way of contributing to the improvement of professional care practices in obstetrical nursing. |
