IMPACTO DO ESTUDO DA INFORMÁTICA NA MELHORIA DO PENSAMENTO CRÍTICO E AUTONOMIA INTELECTUAL: UM ESTUDO COM MULHERES NA MODALIDADE EDUCAÇÃO DE JOVENS E ADULTOS NO BRASIL
| Summary: | RESUMO O presente estudo verifica as possíveis contribuições do ensino da informática na melhoria do pensamento crítico e autonomia intelectual num grupo de mulheres em situação de alta vulnerabilidade que compõem a modalidade de ensino Educação de Jovens e Adultos. Inicialmente foi aplicada uma entrevista não estruturada com uma parcela da turma para verificar padrões e tendências sobre a investigação e, posteriormente, um questionário com a participação de todas as alunas da turma. Os resultados demonstraram que o estudo da informática favorece o aprimoramento do pensamento crítico e a melhoria da autonomia, reforçando a sua importância perante as disciplinas ditas tradicionais, proporcionando empoderamento e aumento da qualidade de vida das alunas. ABSTRACT This study examines the possible contributions of computer education in the improvement of critical thinking and intellectual autonomy in a group of women in situations of high vulnerability that make up the teaching modality of Youth and Adult Education. Initially an unstructured interview with part of the class was applied to verify patterns and trends about the investigation and, later, a questionnaire with the participation of all the students of the class. The results shows that the study of informatics favors the improvement of critical thinking and improvement of autonomy; and, consequently, shows its value in the traditional disciplines, providing empowerment and increase the quality of life of the students. |
