Naturante: o nascimento em arte e a emergência do duplo
| Resumo: | Naturante is the title proposed for this research project that seeks to investigate, from studio practice, the nature of the artistic gesture and its correspondence to the making of nature. The creator, as a mimetic being who seeks to replicate the force of nature, would coincide, then, with this maternal being who not only takes care of the birth of the work but who allows himself to be born, over and over again, through the gesture of creation. Based on this evidence, the reflection will be structured around the idea of birth, underlying the feminine/nature relationship, with its founding matrix, and the way in which art appropriated its processes. The practical component of the artistic project results from this intention to explore the potential of the natural force, capturing its methods and duality. Through the dialogue between body, nature and self-representation, solutions will be launched that aim to capture this same creative essence that, in a coincidental and paradoxical way, tends to escape the light.
