Diálogos sobre a obra do artista brasileiro Hélio Oiticica no Instituto Inhotim
| Resumo: | This work aims to present and analyze the Invention of Color – Penetrável – Magic Square #5 De Luxe, which is found in the Inhotim Institute, by visual artist Hélio Oiticica , considered one of the most emblematic artists of Brazilian contemporary art. The work is composed of nine colored quadrangular pieces in a vertical position, which in addition to dialoguing with each other, also interact with the natural environment, allowing the creation of different formal and chromatic compositions according to the movement of the spectator. The public, when moving before the work is surrounded by the great dimensions of the walls, acting as subject and agent in a process of interlocution. In a complementary way, in the natural environment, the work interacts, in a synergic process built from the art-environment-fruidor relation. Helio’s chromatic concern derives from his neoconcretism, led to the series The Penetrables and expressing a dialogue of color with space |
