Armazém das Artes, uma proposta de serviço educativo
| Resumo: | Visits to museum spaces should provide enriching experiences to the public, endowed with knowledge and playful aspects. For this, museum spaces should focus on non-formal education, handle objects inducers (ideas or emotions), improve communication with the public, build with the public interpretations relating to works / collections, facilitate interaction between the public and between with the works / collections. In this regard we give our attention to the Warehouse of the Arts [AA] and to its temporary and permanent collections. The primary objective of this dissertation is the development of a proposed educational service to the AA. Its achievement was only possible after truly knowing the exhibition space, as well the collections it has, and especially the work of its founder that is closely related to the space designed. As nowadays the focus in museums is directed mainly to the public and their needs, we asked the public about their opinions in order to design the educational project. Museums and heritage must accompany the technological evolution in order to create new processes of communication, appreciation and even management aimed at sustainability. To improve accessibility, as in to improve mobility and interpretation, we suggest the use of graphic design in order to indicate the public of roads / tours circuits; on the other hand, we must take advantage of technological developments, to assist the public in their search on the meanings about the work and subsequent reading, facilitating the interaction and exchange of knowledge |
