Reestruturação do Museu Nacional da Música : trabalho de projeto
| Resumo: | The project work we present is a proposal for the restructuring of the National Music Museum (MNM) for the National Palace of Mafra and a proposal for the improvement of the museum's permanent exhibition, in the Alto dos Moinhos metropolitan station, in Lisbon, its current location. location. The present project work aims to reflect on the way we exhibit music at a national level, giving greater emphasis to the National Music Museum (Lisbon), also analyzing, on a smaller scale, the Museum of Portuguese Music, Casa Verdades de Faria, in Cascais and the Mechanical Music Museum, in Pinhal Novo. Above all, this work presents solutions for improving the way of exhibiting Music. At the end, an exhibition proposal for the National Music Museum will be presented, which will now have a new home, at the National Palace of Mafra. Firstly, there will be a characterization of the Music Museum, in which a survey of the permanent exhibition will be carried out and a diagnosis of its condition. As previously mentioned, an analysis will be made of other music museums in Portugal, in which we will see how our museums exhibit musical objects, and how they explore this musical theme in their installations. With these objectives in mind, the work begins with an analysis of the historical context of music; and the way of exhibiting music in Portugal, we then take a critical approach to the three major music museums in Portugal, mentioned above. Finally, the project itself is presented, as well as the conclusions drawn from all this project work |
