Resumo:This paper offers an approximation to the creative research carried out by the Spanish artist Ramón J. Freire Santa Cruz (Écija, Sevilla, 1980) in relation to the photomechanical processes applied to the photopolymer engraving from digital positives and autographic positives. Developed in this context this work especially focuses on two of his projects: Suomenlinna 11 and Urban architecture. It also reflects his double profile as a researcher and lecturer, resulting in an innovative artistic practice in the field of engraving and the application of new techniques
