Displasia broncopulmonar : revisão teórica, a propósito de um caso clínico
| Resumo: | Extreme prematurity is associated with multiple clinical complications involving various organs and systems. In recent decades, scientific and technological advances in neonatology have played an important role in increasing the number of survivors in preterm newborns and changing the histophysiopathological aspects and clinical picture of the prematurity comorbidities, such as bronchopulmonary dysplasia. In reference to a clinical report of a newborn with a gestational age of 26 weeks who developed moderate bronchopulmonary dysplasia, an updated literature review of the topic has been prepared, including the definition and severity criteria, physiopathology and risk factors, diagnosis and management. |
