A dinâmica contemporânea dos fluxos populacionais cidade/campo em Moçambique : o exemplo de alguns bairros do distrito da Matola
| Resumo: | 1992 was the end of the civil war and the beginning of a new era for the Mozambicans, after the Rome agreement between the belligerents, namely: Frelimo and Renamo. For the population of Matola city and their district in particular, the peace accelerated the changes in social, politicai and economical aspects, at several leveis, that we will try to report the most faithfully as possible along this work. Matola city, is a neighboring city of Maputo city and is cumulatively the capital of the district and the province of Maputo. The war that devasted the country after the independence, moved millions of Mozambicans to live in neighboring countries as refugees, as well as the afflux of thousands into the urban centers. As the result of these, poverty increased dramatically among the Mozambicans. The direct foreign investment and the afflux of technicians from different parts of the world on the other hand, tusked the living in cities difficult for many public workers who have small income. To let out on lease or to sell leasing contracts of houses, became attractive. These facts among others contributed for the populational afflux from the city to cottages or countryside. This is a reality that be summarized up in single word: POVERTY. |
