Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:Health systems have been the subject of discussion around the world and are facing unprecedented pressure. While the quantity and quality of care has improved, the scale and complexity of healthcare needs has increased, along with public expectations for more personalized and convenient services. On the one hand, personal interests and health data enable doctors to provide the best care and take advantage of preventive medicine, and on the other hand, accumulated health data provide fertile ground for new diagnostic software and better algorithms. This transformation towards co-creation can also be observed in sharing platforms, in company-consumer relationships. The starting question was: what are the perceptions of health professionals regarding the benefits and risks of Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Big Data in the health sector? The aim of this study is to understand how health professionals perceive the benefits and risks of Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Big Data in the health sector. In this sense, it is essential to identify the perceptions of health professionals, as they are the ones who are in greater contact with new technologies and who can significantly change their practices. For this purpose, an online questionnaire was developed whose link was sent by email to health professionals in the public and private sector in Portugal.
