Resumo:The objective of this thesis is to study the sustainability of viticulture in the United Kingdom. Viticulture in the United Kingdom as a commercially viable proposition is a relatively recent development brought about by climate change. The conclusion of this study is that the biggest threat to the sustainability of viticulture in the United Kingdom is the same climate change that has made it possible. Possible solutions to reduce the environmental impact of viticulture in the United Kingdom are proposed and evaluated
