Sedução ocular : cintilância ótica e projeção sensorial
| Resumo: | Looking at the trajectory in my previous pictorial investigation, a development plan is presented in this document. It consists of a symptomatic listing built to analyse thoroughly the visual motivations, those of what intertwine thinking pathways and creative acts; questioning what promotes fascination through certain compositions and other singularities in my work – such as the constant appeal of exploring light effects and watery, glassy, translucid, reflective, sparkly, optical themes – as the only way to justify my artistic motivations is to deconstruct these creative motions. To look for information, investigating what structures these optical interests (ocular, retinal), by using graphic correspondence of pictorial background and every reference which supports the graphic/creative drive as an inspiration for the drawing series resultant from this research. This exercise is based not only on pictures’ visual language and iconographic references, but it also has the goal of matching with theoretical acceptances and being able to substantiate esthetical options throughout this project. Trying to unveil formal and conceptual aspects which guide the pictorial, graphical, technical, and creative election of the physical component from artistic work. Clarifying which are the reasons behind this progression in the context of this artistic project, of this odd visual drive at the retinal field and projecting a possible enumeration – relating ocular symptoms associated with the presented creative índex – giving more importance to the production of art as a mean of intellectual aspiration. Strengthening personal and lyrical readings which can establish themselves within the theorical analysis. |
