Interpretação de personagens: Concept art e momentos chave a partir do Memorial do Convento de Saramago
| Resumo: | This theoretical and practical work proposes to investigate the artistic production in the gaming industry and market, and the methods used for its realization by renowned artists. In addition, research will be conducted on the literary work of José Saramago, in order to understand and subsequently apply what has been consulted in the practical part of the project. This analysis will be done both from texts and from observation of illustrations, interviews and portfolios. The research and sketches will be the basis for the production of the videogame concept, since it is thanks to them that not only will the characters be created, both physically and psychologically, but also the natural and urban landscapes that will, of course, influence the narrative. The practical part will cover studies of anatomy, color, facial expressions, clothing and accessories that the characters may have and some dynamic positions of them, of rural and city environments where people are inserted and illustrations of key moments in the story. Thus, to achieve a richer and more polished result, the work will require extensive experimentation and research. |
