Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:The current geological era is characterised by a capitalist system that is imposing itself on other forms of coexistence and in which the impact of human activity is irreversibly marking the ecosystem. This, consequently, is also reflected in the ways of thinking about, approaching and disseminating design practices. In light of these facts, it is considered important to recover and disseminate self-production practices in order to foster alternative design approaches, as well as autonomy and mutuality in communities. The research of this thesis focuses on the area of editorial design and proposes editorial self-production practices as a useful tool within communitarian contexts. The topic of editorial self-production is approached in relation to the teaching of more accessible and ecological editorial design practices. It is believed that, through shared and responsible design practices, it is possible to generate, nurture and strengthen relationships inside the social tissue. In this regard, it is analysed how the workshop dimension can constitute a space for experimentation and encounter where people can become aware of their own potential as bearers of meaning and change through and in the community.
