Resumo:This article intends to show thatif Brazil and the EU have converging interests in the promotion of economic growth, they have different strategies to achieve it. This shows a lack of political will to move forward with the deepening of the Brazil-EU Strategic Partnership as well as with the negotiations between Mercosur and the EU to create a bi-regional free trade area.
