Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:The tests on reliability of the solar thermal collectors allows us to ensure that they are able to withstand adverse effects, such as high pressure inside, degradation by action of solar radiation, thermal shocks inside and outside, degradation of the collector by action of the wind, snow or hail, the entrance of water and the icing of the collector. Besides, the efficiency tests, has the role of determining the thermal behaviour of the collector. Over the years these tests have changed so that they will simulate the worst conditions and became as reliable as possible. As such, there is a new version proposed to amend the rule known as European EN 12975:2006. This dissertation has two distinct objectives. The first objective is to implement a test of rain penetration according to the new proposal to revise the European rule EN 12975:2006. The second objective is the validation of a tool that calculates the energy produced by the collector to the latitude of Stockholm. Throughout this document will be presented the procedures used to develop the tests of reliability for the actual rule and also for the new proposal of amend. For better understanding of the tests on reliability, there will be shown the changes that occurred during the existence of these procedures of test.
