Resumo:This thesis recounts an internship experience at Bodegas Vega Sicilia, a prestigious winery in Spain's Ribera del Duero region. The internship aimed to acquire hands-on skills in winemaking and cellar operations as part of a master's program in Viticulture and Enology. The report talks about the winery's history, terroir, and viticultural and enological practices, emphasizing sustainability and innovation. Learning objectives include, mastering enology, team-building in a foreign language, and networking. The internship offered practical experience in various aspects of winemaking, from barrel making to fermentation management and limited vineyard observation. Recommendations for future improvements, such as renewable energy and micro-terroir units, are also discussed. The internship enriched both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, offering valuable insights for future practises.
