Jogo de lógica de Lewis Carroll
| Resumo: | The perspective of the real world by Lewis Carroll shows his great talent, intellectual/perspicacious, in the creation of the Game of Logic, fascinates me. His own world, since his childhood, is shown in Part I. Without any references of Dyslexia, which I think he may have suffered from. His great triumph was to use this gift. He was able to use his mental ability to alter and create different perspectives. People with Dyslexia think mostly through images rather than through words, feeling in multiple dimensions with all their senses. (Therefore, for him Alice in Wonderland was easy). Using Symbolic Logic, Part II, he makes the analogy of understanding his theory as a puzzle. Beginning with definitions and classifications and showing propositions of existence and relations, as well as various investigations into the subject. Symbolic Logic is a set of mental entertainment. It is possible to have healthy satisfaction through playing games, such as Chess and Backgammon, when you win and not have anything to show for it! There is a personal satisfaction, however, it cannot be taken away and used in the real world. However, a perfect mine of health is being left unexplored. Once reached, the connection to Symbolic Logics is like a mental tool, always useful and ready to use to understand different interests in the real world. When playing the Logic Game, described in Part III, you are training your mind. You come to conclusions (or not) after analysing a syllogism. The syllogism is made up of a subject and a predicate which we analyse and rewrite as a trilateral diagram, then try to transform it into a bilateral diagram and reach a conclusion. It is then compared to one given by the syllogism and checks its truthfulness. The most valuable of all are those which can detect deceptions and destroy weak arguments which continue to appear in books, magazine and speeches. In Part IV, there is a comparison between the methods of Euler's Diagrams, Venn's Diagrams and the Lewis Carroll method. Just to demonstrate that his method is easier to understand, more intelligent, objective, efficient and practical. |
