TINA survey dataset: citizens perceptions of programmatic choice in Germany and Portugal
| Resumo: | This dataset is an output of the exploratory project "TINA - There is no alternative? The role of economic choice perceptions for democratic support and voting behaviour" (2022-2024). The project was funded by the FCT (Foundation for Science and Technology) under grant grant agreement EXPL/CPO-CPO/0506/2021. TINA investigates citizens’ perceptions of democratic choices over economic policies. Based on the assumption that European integration has reduced government autonomy and party competition concerning economic issues, TINA measures voters’ assessments of the diversity and congruence of party-political offerings in different issue areas using of a representative mixed-mode survey fielded in Portugal and Germany |
